Our Story

Atelier Reel began as a return to making — to the joy of creating useful, physical things you can hold, use, and keep. In a world that moves fast and digital, our focus is on functional design objects that bring calm, order, and small moments of happiness.

Every product begins with a real frustration. A Fujifilm X100VI camera switch that turns on too easily. A Cybex stroller cup holder that wobbles. A detail in the home that just doesn’t work. These ordinary problems are our raw material. Through minimalist design and thoughtful iteration, they become practical solutions that feel simple, intentional, and lasting.

Our process is guided by three principles:

  • Form follows frustration – every design starts with a real-world need.
  • Simplicity wins – no extra parts, no added fuss.
  • Soul matters – the best objects don’t just function, they belong.

Each piece is designed, 3D printed, and hand-finished in our Stockholm studio. Production is small-scale and sustainable: minimizing waste, designing with longevity in mind, and shipping worldwide with care.
