Questions

How long will it take to make my order?
Every object is made on demand in our studio — usually within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri). Making to order keeps waste low and quality high.
When will my order ship?
We pack and hand off your order as soon as it is finished. You'll receive a confirmation when it leaves the studio.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide from Sweden. If your country isn't available at checkout, email hello@atelier-reel.com and we'll add it.
How long does shipping take?
  • Sweden: 1–3 business days
  • USA (UPS): Standard 3–6 business days · Express 1–3 business days
  • Europe/UK/Japan (PostNord/partners): typically 5–12 business days · Express 1–3 business days
Times can vary with customs and local carriers.
Will I get tracking?
It depends on the method you choose at checkout. We offer affordable airmail options without tracking to keep costs low. Choose Tracked or Express for a tracking link and faster delivery.
Can I choose faster shipping?
Yes. In the Shipping step, select Express (1–3 business days to many destinations). For other regions, pick Tracked/Express if shown.
My parcel seems late — what should I do?
Check tracking if you selected it.
For untracked airmail, most parcels arrive within the window above; a few take longer due to customs backlogs.
If you are past the typical window, email hello@atelier-reel.com and we will investigate.
Can I request a custom colour or variation?
Yes. Reply to your order confirmation or email hello@atelier-reel.com with your idea and we will confirm feasibility before printing.
What is your return policy?
EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Custom/personalised items are refundable if faulty. Contact us before sending anything back so we can help.
What if I chose untracked airmail and the parcel is lost?
Untracked services do not include delivery confirmation or insurance. For valuable or time-sensitive orders we recommend Tracked/Express.
Can you mark my order as a gift or lower the value?
No — we must declare contents and value accurately for customs.
Will I pay import fees or taxes?
Possibly. Some countries charge VAT/GST, duties, and/or a small handling fee on delivery. On Etsy, VAT may be collected at checkout for certain regions; if tax appears on your Etsy receipt, you usually will not be charged again on arrival.
How much are import fees to the United States?
U.S. customers typically see about $10–18 total import charges. We ship DAP (the carrier collects import fees from the receiver).
Which payments do you accept?
We use Stripe for secure checkout and accept major cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Depending on your location and device, Stripe may also offer Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Klarna at checkout.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. All traffic uses TLS encryption. Payment data is processed by Stripe on their PCI-certified servers. We never store full card details.
How are your objects made?
Every piece is 3D-printed layer by layer in our Stockholm studio, then finished and inspected by hand. This applies to all our products, including the Power Switch Lock, Focus Ring, and Flower Cup Holder. Subtle texture or tiny aesthetic marks are normal and do not affect function. Why are items made on demand?
It reduces waste and keeps stock at zero. We only make what is needed and can refine small details over time.
Will the colour match my screen?
We aim to represent colours true-to-life, but screen calibration and lighting vary — minor differences are normal.
Care tips
  • Wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Avoid harsh solvents and high heat (dishwashers, radiators, parked cars in direct sun).
  • New moving parts may feel snug; a few cycles of use usually settle the fit.
What makes your designs original?
Each design begins with a real-world frustration and is developed in our studio. Our 3D-printed objects, product names, and visual identity are original works. Explore our product collection to see the range.
Do you track me?
No. We do not use advertising or behaviour-tracking cookies. We collect as little as possible to run the store and keep analytics privacy-first.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We protect your data with strong encryption and minimal access, and we never sell your data. Read our Privacy Notice for the full picture.
Do you also sell on Etsy?
Yes — selected pieces are available at theatelierreel.etsy.com.

Is it cheaper to buy here?
Often, yes. Buying directly means fewer marketplace fees — helping keep prices fair for both you, and us as a business. Etsy, for example, charges up to 20% fees on each sale.
